Summary
Managing a rental property — whether it’s your first or one of many — can raise a lot of questions. Below are answers to some of the most common questions I receive as a licensed property manager and Realtor®. If your question isn’t listed here, feel free to reach out directly. I’m always happy to help.
What are the benefits of hiring a professional property manager like you?
Hiring a property manager saves you time, protects your investment, and minimizes stress. As a sole proprietor, I offer a highly personalized experience with the same professionalism you’d expect from a large firm. Here’s what I handle on your behalf:
- Tenant relations – I serve as the main point of contact for your tenants, handling questions, concerns, and disputes professionally.
 - Maintenance coordination – I oversee all necessary repairs and routine maintenance using vetted vendors.
 - Leasing & marketing – I advertise your property, screen applicants thoroughly, and handle lease signings.
 - Rent collection – I ensure timely rent payments and handle any delinquencies.
 - Legal compliance – I stay up-to-date with California landlord-tenant laws to keep your property compliant and your interests protected.

Many of my clients are referrals who trust me to manage their homes like my own — with care, integrity, and attention to detail.
Why is it important to work with a licensed property manager?
In California, anyone managing property for others must be a licensed real estate professional. I’ve been licensed since 2014 and am currently completing my final course to obtain my broker’s license. I’m also a proud member of SCCAOR (Santa Clara County Association of Realtors), which holds its members to high ethical and professional standards.
Hiring a licensed professional ensures you’re working with someone accountable and educated in the legal and financial responsibilities of property management.
Do you provide maintenance and repair services?
Yes — I offer full-service property management, which includes coordinating and overseeing all maintenance and repairs. I work closely with trusted vendors to ensure high-quality, timely work at competitive rates. Preventive maintenance is also a key part of protecting your investment long-term.
Will tenants be charged for repairs?
That depends on the lease agreement and the nature of the issue. If damage is due to tenant negligence or misuse, the cost will be passed on to the tenant. Otherwise, normal wear and tear and routine maintenance are typically covered by the property owner.
How much do you charge for property management services?
My pricing is competitive and depends on the level of service you need. Full-service management typically ranges between8%–12% of monthly rent, but I also offer flexible, tailored solutions — whether you need help finding a tenant, overseeing renovations, or managing day-to-day operations. I’m happy to provide a custom quote after learning more about your property and goals.
What areas do you serve?
I specialize in Santa Clara County and the greater Bay Area, including San Jose, Campbell, Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, and surrounding cities. If you're unsure whether your property is in my service area, just ask!
Why should I choose you over a large property management company?
As a sole proprietor, I offer something large firms often can’t: personalized, hands-on service. You’ll always know exactly who’s managing your property — no hand-offs, no call centers, no confusion. With nearly two decades of experience in real estate and property management, I bring both the professionalism of a seasoned expert and the care of someone who genuinely values relationships.
My goal is simple: to protect your investment, save you time, and give you peace of mind.
Can I sue a property manager if something goes wrong?
Yes, property managers can be held legally accountable — just like any other service provider. That said, my goal is to maintain open communication and resolve issues early, so they never get to that point. I believe in transparency, accountability, and doing right by my clients.
